Abstract

Epigenetic variation, among cells or individuals of eukaryotic orgnaisms/plants, has origin in structural adaptation of chromosomal regions for registering, signaling and perpetuating the changed activity states. The structural chromosome changes include DNA methylation and a variety of histone modifications in chromatin.
